Numbers: tools to help you to reach your financial goals

I’m a fan of numbers and thus really enjoy using online tools to help me visualize my financial freedom journey. I’ve picked a few tools  that helped me in the beginning of my journey that I still enjoy using and listed them below.

WalletBurst calculators

WalletBurst has numerous personal finance calculators on their home page. I have really liked the coast FIRE (financial independence, retire early),  barista FIRE and “normal” FIRE . However, there are tens and useful tools on the web page – have a look!

Future inflation

Job title or function

This calculator by in2013dollars.com helps to predict the purchasing power of a dollar (or a euro, yen etc.) in Y years. We all know that due to inflation prices are rising. Your FIRE number right now might be 1M but what is it going to be in 20 years,  after adjusting to inflation?
Just in case adding that this is just an assumption and it is not accurate as we can’t predict inflation 🙂

Freedom days calculator

Job title or function

This is something for people aiming to reach FIRE. It’s a different take towards financial freedom calculators by engaging-data.com. Namely,  the calculator helps you to visualize how many days a year you could support yourself using your passive income only. Once you reach 365 days you’re financially free! I’m currently in mid-February 🙂

Latte Factor Calculator

Job title or function

Buying a latte or a pack of cigarettes every now and then doesn’t change much, right? RIGHT? Well, see for yourself, using this clever calculator by financialmentor.com.
